Kadosh (Innervisions,Frau Blau,Disco Halal)
Kadosh (Innervisions | Watergate | Disco Halal | Frau Blau, Tel Aviv) It took Amiram Kadosh exactly 3 years to stand out as one of the top names breaking out of Tel Aviv and onto to the global stage, 36 months which saw him rapidly move from playing the best clubs in Israel, to playing the best clubs on the world. Having learned piano since he was just 12, and diving head first into the world of hip hop and soul, turned music into an essential driving force in his life. But it was House music that arrived just in time as he was looking for that next phase, the next musical evolution where he could channel his talents. And now, come 2022, Kadosh has cemented his global reputation as a gifted producer with releases on a range of highly respected labels like Innervisions, Watergate Records, Disco Halal and many more. His productions are regularly played by every renowned DJ worldwide, from Dixon and Ăme to Solomun and Tale Of Us, and his much talked about Imprint Frau Blau Music is already making headway with a run of cutting edge underground EP and some hotly tipped future releases. So now, after 36 intense months of dance floor and studio wizardry, and barely into his mid 20's, Kadosh is taking his abilities and skill to the next level. And with a deep passion and unsurpassed dedication to the game, we will continue to see this musician's talent unfold before our very eyes.

Re.You (Moon Harbour/Mobilee/Connected)
RE.YOU Achieving and maintaining a consistently high level of success within underground electronic music is an impressive feature. In fact, itâs rare to find an artist who has managed to stay relevant as so many trends rapidly come and go in this scene. Marius Maier, aka Re.You, is one such artist, a producer and DJ who has transcended whatâs âhotâ to carve out his own pathway, picking up a dedicated fanbase and worldwide bookings in the process. As well as being a renowned producer since 2009, Maier also runs his own label, Younion, to support music made by his talented circle of producer friends. With a career spanning over a decade, Re.Youâs passion for his craft remains at an all-time high and he is poised to embark on the next exciting chapter of his lifeâs work... As a teenager in Ulm, a small town in southern Germany, Marius first began to appreciate the power of rhythmic vibration through a love of DJ Premierâs mystical, jazzy creations. Around this time a few of his friends got into turntablism but after winning the German Youth Championship in basketball, Marius had other things on his mind and pursued his dream of becoming the next Michael Jordan. Sadly, a brutal knee injury ended any chance of achieving his âhoop dreamsâ but during his recovery Marius found he had a lot of spare time on his hands and began to teach himself production. Initially he joined forces with his two brothers, forming a live electronic music trio called SantĂ©. The project inspired Marius to really push himself, learning how to improve his skillset. It was an important period of his musical life, a formative, fertile time when the foundations of his current standing were laid down. Tensions between the brothers led to the demise of their project, with Philipp carrying on with SantĂ© as a solo project, but Marius is grateful for the experience - in the fallout from their split Re.You was born and so began a new adventure. Re.You came into being in 2009, and it wasnât long before his talents caught the ears of the Keinemusik crew. He developed a productive live partnership with Keinemusik boss Rampa called âRARâ, describing their first night playing together at Horst as one of the key moments in his career. From that moment he decided to devote himself to Re.You and to start DJing, too. The duo released âWorkâ on Keinemusik in 2010, followed by releases on Gigolo Records, Cocoon and Rebirth. Meanwhile Re.You had his first solo release with Souvenir Music, the label run by his friends Tiefschwarz, in 2010.Through this early work he quickly established himself as an accomplished producer, able to transmit emotion through his deft compositions while also keeping the dance floor buoyant and energised. This nifty balance won him fans around the world and he began to tour Europe, also relocating to Berlin where he became entrenched in the cityâs diverse and fertile scene. A prolific producer, Re.You is driven by the positive energy he gets from being in the studio. Music is his lifeblood and the source of much fun, just like his days on the basketball court. In Berlin he connected with Anja Schneiderâs legendary mobilee label, dropping his first release with the outfit in 2012. Since then he has produced four more EPs for the influential label, each one receiving widespread praise. Soon after, Re.You also formed a strong bond with Mathias Tanzmann's Moon Harbour label, producing four EPs for them since 2014 including âDonât Stopâ and âVery Very Dryâ. He has also been welcomed into the fold at the mighty Kompakt, releasing a stunning two-track EP featuring singles âRobotâ and âFantasyâ. Somehow he also found time to work with infamous British group the Stereo MCs, producing three EPs for their Connected label and Marius has also dedicated time to producing a long list of remixes for artists ranging from Andhim, Magit Cacoon, and M.A.N.D.Y to Matthias Tanzmann, Butch, Ninetoes, Terranova, Rodriguez Jr. and Anja Schneider. Not forgetting a very special edit of Lana Del Reyâs âVideo Gamesâ in 2012. Fueled by his deep love for electronic music in all its forms, Re.You launched his own platform, Younion, in 2016. Named after a series of parties he curated, where he would invite friends to come and spin with him, the label represents those nights in a more tangible form, with each release bringing in a new artist and breathing new life into the label, which has no genre restrictions. Each EP features music by Re.You himself along with two tracks from accompanying artists, including productions from Terranova, Tiefschwarz, Ruede Hagelstein and Dino Lenny. The next step is to begin releasing EPs that focus on music from just one act, taking the label in a new direction. When heâs not in the studio heâs on the road most weekends touring around Europe and the rest of the world. He has played at an exhaustive list of the worldâs most influential clubs, from Miami to London, Madrid and everywhere in between including most of the best-known spots in Berlin. Re.Youâs ability to diversify and spin music that keeps the dance floor full of energy, means he has had a consistent touring schedule for almost 10 years. Feeling as though he is in a good place with everything, Marius has created space to start work on his debut album, taking his production to a new level and getting his teeth into a challenging large-scale project. The as yet unnamed LP is the culmination of over a decadeâs worth of experience, from hours and hours spent in the studio, to thousands of miles on the road and all of his interactions with fellow music producers, his peers and mentors. After several successful years in Berlin, he moved to Paris in 2017 and found himself full of new ideas - inspired by the city and its creative energy. This was the catalyst behind his album, which will be a delicate balance of dance floor-ready material and music that is made for the purpose of home listening. A tried and tested formula but one which Re.You is bound to imbue with his own unique sound, as always. So, as he steps into a new phase of his career, Re.You maintains the ethos that has made him one of the most consistent artists of his generation; balance, diversity, fun and great energy. Itâs winning combination that will keep him spinning around the world for many years to come..H

Guy J (Lost and Found) Tel Aviv
-
Israeli producer Guy J has established himself as one of the most sophisticated and emotive producers in electronic music of the last decade, with a body of work and a sphere of influence that belies relatively short time in the spotlight. Whether it be his sensual, hypnotic take on house music, his deeply textured techno or his wondrous ambient material, his work is always touched with a magic and emotion that few rival. Growing up, he was immersed in Israelâs dance music culture, and a burgeoning scene that is known the world over for its epic parties. From its own Love Parade to major clubs and radio shows, the country has long been a bastion for underground electronic culture. âIf you looked for it, it was right thereâ he recalls. But while the country was chiefly known as the worldâs chief exporter of psy trance, Guy and his contemporaries have spearheaded an acclaimed new wave of Israeli house and techno music. âIâm very sensitive person, so I think what I make is what I feel at the moment I make itâ he explains of the deeply emotional qualities of his music. âI started as big fan of trance and progressive, and got exposed later on to techno and house\deep house. Iâm trying to put all this together in my music; a bit of everything.â Guy started producing at the age of 14, amassing a wealth of equipment and experience and dedicating his life to learning the craft (âmy friends called my room âthe caveââ). His first release came at the age of 21, but it was his 2007âs gem Save Me that proved to be his real launchpad. John Digweed snapped up the glistening, dramatic slice of deeper house music up for his legendary Bedrock Records, setting in motion a chain of events that would change his life forever. âIt was like a dream coming true. I never knew it would lead me to having two albums on a label that I really grew up with.â Its sublime Depeche Mode-esque synth work pointed to a talent that surprised considering his short time releasing records, and his ascent from hereon was steady and rapid. His debut album Esperanza gained plaudits in 2008 with its classy, ethereal blend of progressive house, techno, electro and electronica, while the follow-up 1000 Words went deeper still over two discs of expansive soundscapes and intricate dancefloor explorations. âI always wanted to make an artist album and to give another aspect of my musicâ he says. âWhat is magic for me in house music is that you can hear "real" music and also dance to it. There are so many emotions involved in it, but itâs ultimately there to create a good vibe, and to make you dance. But to make an artist album is a way for me to deliver pure music.â Itâs this balance of the organic and the electronic, the visceral and the mental, that make his music so captivating and wide in its appeal. Never one to be pigeonholed, his portfolio is a diverse beast, with releases finding their way onto Tigaâs increasingly eclectic Turbo imprint amongst others. To feature on two labels that are essentially synonymous with two very different scenes is testament to his versatility, and above all, the quality and conviction of his productions. âI don't see myself as producer of one genre only; I believe in exploring and trying different stuff when you have all the tools you need to createâ he clarifies. âTo be signed to Turbo... itâs also amazing as it a big label that has its own crowd of people who listen to a certain type of music, and to be part of it is great.â 2012 sees Guy kick off an exciting new project with his close colleagues and friends at Bedrock: his very own imprint âLost & Foundâ, a sub-label for John Digweedâs long running mothership where heâll release music by himself and his favourite producers. Then thereâs the small matter of a release on Cocoon, one of the most highly regarded labels in techno and beyond, and some exciting collaborations in the pipeline with some other inspiring artists. As always with this unique talent, itâs quality, not quantity. Each of his releases is met with a swell of anticipation, and for once in this often over-hyped world, itâs fully justified.
